Jacob Erlich, MBA, is well respected as a dynamic facilitator, workshop designer and corporate trainer. He has been a trusted external partner to various organisations in creating efficiencies for global teams through designing and facilitating corporate off-sites, workshops, skill-based training and one-on-one coaching engagements.  


Over the past 10 years Jacob has delivered programs on a variety of topics across all employee levels and through experience has discovered an aptitude and passion for his work related to Facilitation, Learning Experience Design, Global Communication, Team Development, Leadership Development, and Cross-Cultural Competency. He has designed and delivered programs in over 15 cities across Asia Pacific for multinational clients from industries ranging Banking and Financial Services, Consulting, Hospitality, Insurance, Luxury Retail, Manufacturing, Technology and Tourisms.

Jacob has corporate experience in the banking sector from his time living in New York where he began his career as a credit analyst with HSBC. In pursuit of furthering his education as well as experiencing living in Asia, Jacob received a full scholarship to earn his MBA at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan where he focused on human resources and organizational behavior. While studying he worked as a university lecturer and corporate trainer in global communications and cross-cultural competency. Following graduation, he moved to Hong Kong to join a consultancy specialized in experiential learning and team development. Within 18 months Jacob was promoted to general manager a role he held for three years. In late 2015, Jacob moved to Tokyo where he immediately began working with a select number of consultancies offering development programs in soft skills for business effectiveness, cross-cultural management and skills for advancing L&D professionals. At the beginning of January 2018, Jacob shifted to Bangalore India to work with his current business partners, Melanie Martinelli and Shilpa Subramanian, where he expanded his knowledge and skills in the areas of learning design, delivery, reinforcement and transfer.

Jacob loves traveling, meta-learning and staying active. His favorite activities include learning new styles of cooking while traveling, practicing free-diving in the seas of Asia, and rolling around the mat in the jujitsu dojo.

Today Jacob serves as the Co-Founder and Director at The Learning Gym.
