Communicating Learning in the Elementary
Communicating with parents is often a second tier priority for many teachers behind a viable curriculum, but enhanced communication between classroom teachers and parents has a distinct correlation to GPA improvement and developing a growth mindset of learning.

This session is for systems administrators and classroom teachers that want to improve communication lines between our biggest supporters of learning by leveraging tools such as Learning Management Systems and microblogging platforms such as Class Dojo and Seesaw along with analysis of overlapping feature sets of each. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore these tools through hands on activities, learn from user testimonials, and leave with an archive of resources on a Google site to take with them back to their school to help train faculty towards better practices of communicating with parents in their school.
