Why do Chinese students educated from a traditional Confucian environment consistently outperform students from a Western educational background in international benchmark tests like PISA? What is wrong with rote learning and memorization? Is it time to Reverse the Flow between West and Confucian educational thinking? This workshop offers a fresh approach to understanding Confucian educational values and will give practical examples of a fusion approach to teaching and learning, based on the speakers experience in local and international schools
