In addition to teaching 8th grade at Western Academy of Beijing and serving as the Middle School Service Learning Coordinator, Adam Carter is the Founder and Director of the Cause & Affect Foundation, which delivers direct assistance to people, families and well-run Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) around the world. In this Snapshot presentation, he will provide a concrete step-by-step model teachers can follow in order to launch a successful charity project, including how to fund raise, determine the most effective way of helping, documenting success and spreading word to supporters and donors. Participants  will walk away with the knowledge (and a “how-to” guide) that will prepare them to become effective humanitarians. This model can also be shared with students.
