Our brains are designed to acquire it. We can hack others with it. Its use involves sophisticated coding. It is mostly based on an open-source platform and highly dependent on an active group of users and contributors. But it is vulnerable to corporate and other, not infrequently, nefarious interests. It is as alive as a virus but essential to our humanity. Our future may be best inoculated against a syruppy sameness if only we retain access to multiple strains of it.

Come to a thought provoking and challenging reflection on perhaps the greatest of all technologies...language.
