Just two decades ago, if you had predicted touch screen mobile phones without physical keypads, you would either have been laughed at or called Steve Jobs. As educationalists and leaders of learning, it is almost impossible for us to predict future technological advances and physical changes to our learning spaces. However, by looking to the past, we can see trends - the Paris exhibition of 1900 is a great starting point!

In this workshop, we will neither focus on individual pieces of hardware nor on physical classroom furniture. Instead, we will work through a simple process of identifying the teaching and learning systems we seek to enhance with integrated technology and changes to learning spaces.
