The education and EdTech industries maintain a tenuous, yet symbiotic relationship. Schools need EdTech products for academic and organizational purposes and companies build products for the education market. However, neither speak a common language, which results in miscommunicated needs and unfulfilled promises.

In this session, we will explore lessons in communication and best practices for school leaders and EdTech companies to bridge the gap and establish a common language. We’ll discuss work around the Blueprint for Technology in Education as a means for schools to understand their own technology needs better and for EdTech companies to better position their products to meet those needs.
