Andrew's presentation looks at the work he has undertaken over the last 5 years at Garden International School - designing, implementing and promoting the completion of an Immersive Learning Environment. It will explore the technology used in the space including hardware and software - examining how smart lighting technology is being used alongside projection and sound. Andrew will answer how theatrical ideas around multimedia production elements can be used to engage learners and enhance experiential learning opportunities.

Throughout the presentation, he will refer to successful classroom activities he has developed and how he has promoted the use of the Immersive Learning Environment into curriculum development of Primary Enquiry, Literacy and Secondary Subject departments such as Science, History, English, Art and Geography. Andrew will also look at how teachers can employ technology in their own classrooms to develop smaller scale immersive environment.
