The session focusses on how the use of gamification enabled our Primary students to become confident Mathematicians leading them to win the FOBISIA Mathematics Competition. We would like to share our journey on how technology helped students who were initially disaffected with Mathematics to engage dynamically with the subject leading to great individual success stories.

Our strategic approach of setting up a school action research project, small-scale pilots, results analysis and reflection, teacher training, curriculum development and community participation is easily replicable in most schools.

We will be looking at how you could encourage non-tech teachers to buy in and discuss ideas and other toolsets that can support both literacy and science.
