Using technology to create art can be very accessible for students and can bring rewarding results. Capturing light and using time lapse programs is an interesting activity or can be extended into a longer unit for inquiry. With a light source, iPad, phone, or Camera, and an couple of apps, students can create amazing effects. This session will be hands on and learning about the techniques students would go through to create a digital "painting".

Teaching IB art and Drama for 10 years in Canada was wonderful. Our family was ready for an adventure and that brings me to teaching grade 6 for the third year here at Delia. In the Alberta program, teaching art and drama as a specialist teacher in a new school has been a rewarding process.
