Along with my teaching of secondary Mathematics and Science, I am dedicated to the development of leadership in young people and contribute to my school community through my position of advisor for the student government, the SRC. Throughout the years our school has experimented with different versions of the Student Representative Council (SRC). We asked, how can we get these young people of different age groups to really connect with each other so that they can connect with the needs of the student body? Our solution, The SRC Form Group. The presentation will explain our current model, the successes, the challenges and the explore the student experience within this model.
