Akina Lam currently works as the Creative Information Coordinator at King George V School. She is the Coordinator of the Association of Librarians English Speaking Schools in Hong Kong and runs the Hong Kong Golden Dragon Book Awards (GDBA) with her GDBA Committee.

Passionate about reading and writing, she received her MPhil in Education (Distinction) from Homerton College, University of Cambridge, with a major in Children’s Literature. Her research interests lie in reading, creative writing, YA literature and information studies.
